Father Wild: Marquette's Transformation
This website is the outcome of my Independent Study for the Capstone in Digital Storytelling. My name is Danny Manson, and I am a student in the Master of Arts in Communication program at Marquette University.

More than just a class project, the site is a personal reflection of Fr. Robert A. Wild, the retiring president of Marquette University. Having received my Bachelors degree from Marquette as well, I have been a part of the Marquette community since 1998, and had the privilege of getting to know Fr. Wild along the way.

As I look ahead to my own graduation this December, it seemed like a logical choice to do a project on Fr. Wild, and specifically, the transformation that has occurred at Marquette in his tenure, as I have been able to witness this transformation first-hand.

The physical transformation is obvious when walking through campus, but Fr. Wild's legacy goes far beyond that. Alumni engagement is at an all time high, Marquette Athletics is enjoying unprecedented success, and the University continues to shoot up academic rankings. Simply put, under Fr. Wild's watch, Marquette has grown in leaps & bounds.

Take a moment to celebrate Fr. Wild's legacy. View the interactive photo timeline for a visual of Marquette's transformation, read narratives from several who have worked closely with Fr. Wild, and read about my own experiences with him. I hope you enjoy this tribute, and I wish Father Robert A. Wild all the best in his retirement!
